Gender issues in higher education- forum

Why Are We Still Talking About This? Gender issues in higher education.

Why? As a woman student at UBC, we want to hear about your experiences on campus. This event is designed to draw on your experiences as women in undergraduate and graduate programs at UBC. It is our hope that we can work with you to gain a better understanding of what women students across the campus - from different faculties, disciplines, research areas, and professional programs - experience in terms of campus culture, campus climate and other issues of concern for women students here at UBC. This event will be the first in a series of events and initiatives designed to use your experiences and insights as women to better inform our efforts to encourage and foster an inclusive campus environment.

When: Tuesday January 20th 2009 from 12 to 2pm

Where: Thea’s Lounge, Graduate Student Centre, 6371 Crescent Rd.
